Daddy's out of town and even though the minutes are passing slowly, we are making the best of our time with kisses and baking and swimming. 

Today's highlights: 
Homemade Ikea Pancakes.  Jelly and butter for Mae-ski.  Maple syrup and butter for Jane Wayne. 

Indoor trampoline park where we ran into our buddies Maddux and Camden. 

Grocery shopping trip where we got excited to see Halloween decorations being put up.

Evening is fast approaching.  We will be swimming and having a nice dinner. Janie is excited to have "mommy and daughter movie night" on mommy and daddy's bed. 

It's all so sweet and almost perfect. Daddy will be here soon, though, to pick up right where we all left off.

I know people say this a lot, but seriously, my sister is my biggest inspiration. You will never meet a more witty, intelligent, free-spirited, 0r beautiful 25-year-old girl. People always point out that we have the same diction, speech, witty/cynical attitude and I never get sick of hearing it. To be compared to such an enrapturing person is an amazing honor. I could write pages upon pages of situations where my sister pulled me through some dark, scary times in my life but instead I want the world -and you sis- to know that you are the sole reason I am on the path I am today. The person who pushed me with words, steered me with love and nurtured me with an influence oozing with positivity. I am so stoked to visit you next month sis! For every one who's curious. Chelsea is in the Peace Corps Master's program at Rutger's in Camden, NJ. friday in boulder.

"i want to paint this city red to hide a blue heart" I recently started to get Friday's off from work (which I'm totally psyched about). i am going to consciously dedicate every friday to having fun since i work through the weekends. me, fallon, c and derek went to a small town outside of the city called "boulder." they are known for their incredible antique stores. we had a lovely lunch, bought adorable pieces and managed to only get yelled at by one shop owner (meanie almost made me cry). my most favorite part was meeting this man: he teaches glass blowing classes and also works in a little antique shop and make's adorable little glass figurines. he told me about his youth and how he got drunk with the beetles, how him and his wife met and how he loves her more every day. -i am honestly thinking about taking some glass blowing lessons from him- you never know what hobby will create your impetus for fulfillment
