Bonjour, mamma.

Due to the fact that I have to work on Christmas day, all of my celebrating will be fit into the day before. Movies, food, libations, hugs, photos and great conversation with my family. I love um. I compiled an acronym-based list of things I experienced in 2009. Enjoy. C herished the fact that I have a great job, in 2009, too many were lost. H ad my first oyster. I give it a 6. R ealized that I am an established young woman. No longer a kid with intangible dreams. I nvited the Lord in my heart to stay forever. Too many times before I had fallen. S ang Korean Karaoke in downtown L.A. with new, amazing friends. T old a boy that he was a "spineless little fraction of a man." He deserved it. M ade headbands , bachlava and ad campaign's . A greed fully with the political views of John Stossel . S aved every cent I earned for my frivolous stay in Europe next year. E arned the title of "Public Relation's Chair" for Up 'til Dawn . V oted out all things negative...

All I really want this Christmas. An accordion. That's truly all I want this Christmas (besides tons of love). I know how to play the piano and I am completely infactuated with the sound of the accordion. There is something so mysterious, emotional, romantic, exciting, and sultry about the sound of the accordion. Really, I started to appreciat it more when I began listening to Beirut about two years ago. They are my default band when I am feeling indolent, insecure, unhappy or anything unpleasant. They turn me into a happy lady. I want an accordian, I want to play it and I want people to be sitting around a table with me and share the sounds of life that make each other happy (telling a joke, playing acoustic guitar, crying). I want to do it all... And I will.
