Looking back

Nostalgic about how little Jane was here & how tender these first first weeks were as a family.  Bringing home a new little life to care for is somewhat overwhelming.  I can remember several times where I would look at my husband helplessly and wonder "are we going to be able to do this?"  I think those moments of doubt are good to have.  They put things into perspective and force you to prove to yourself that "yes, you really can do it." 

We did it, babes.  Well we aren't done yet, but we've definitely come a long way.  

I love my family.
