Bonjour, mamma.

 On Sunday, December 21, 2014  Jane got baptized at St. Joseph Husband of Mary Roman Catholic Church. What an amazing day, indeed. The outpouring of loving and support from our friends and family truly made Michael and I feel special. Our daughter is now on her own faith journey, and I am so excited to guide her and help her along the way.  Thank you, Lord, for our sweet Jane Alexander. 

Christmas has arrived and I am oozing with excitement!  This is Jane's first Christmas and I really want it to be memorable.  My sister gets into town in a couple weeks and will see her niece for the first time since she was born. It will be a beautiful and sweet moment.  Jane's baptism is coming up and we are having a grand fète for that as well. Cookies, food, movies, warm cups of delicious tea, hot chocolate, egg nog etc. Christmas parties, hugs, kisses, cuddles, being merry, and giving.  This is what this advent season is about and I can't wait to kick it off with a roar! We had a lot of fun at the UCLA game this past weekend.  Jane slept in our arms the whole time, totally undisturbed.  We spent a day on Balboa Island and had the most amazing pizza.  MMM CARBS.  Jane was our little companion + it was so fun just getting out with her and enjoying the beautiful weather. My only complaint would be trying to find a cozy, comfortable place to breastfeed at Knotts Berry Farm. They DO have a nursing room that is attached to the bathroom, but it looked like it hadn't been cleaned in years.  So, we trekked back to the car and took care of business there. Not ideal, but we gotta do what we gotta do.  Next up in the Hammonds' household is Thanksgiving prep, picking the lemons off of our very ripe bush, and decorating for Christmas.  Some favorite moments of our quick trip were: 1. Thanks to AirBnB, we were set up nicely in the LA area at this adorable 1920's bungalow.  

Life is beautiful music festival was a blast. As a part of downtown Las Vegas' initiative to bring culture and fun back to the locals, LIB was created. A three-day festival of music, food and fun. We got to see the Roots, Lionel Ritchie and Outkast perform, to name a few. It was hard leaving our little girl at home. We realized we were talking about her the whole night. Haha. Anyways, I am glad we got to go to such a fun event and have a date night. My husband is so much fun. Twirls me around and makes me feel beautiful. Man, I scored.
